I am currently an Art Director for High-Tech Institute providing strategic planning for all Internet Marketing efforts, Art Direction, Content Creation and vendor support for more than 8 brands and 26 locations. Over the past six years my team has provided consistently lower cost leads with a higher conversion rate, increasing the overall ROI of High-Tech Institute by utilizing aggressive internet strategies. Many of our most successful strategies have come from the creation of original content that drives an emotional response from the viewer. By actively engaging our users, we have been able to create a better lead quality for our sales staff.
What kind of strategies has your team implemented? Ultimately, giving the users what they are looking for has been the overall strategy we have built upon. Creating focused landing pages that do not overwhelm the user but engages them has been a great success for our CPC marketing campaigns. Program feature sites that allow the user to actively participate in the day and the life of that career path have converted many of our leads into enrollments. Now, we are taking the next steps in create content that is handheld friendly and media driven through the use of Adobe Flash. With this increasingly growing user population it's time to implement new media strategies that can leverage upon that population. This market is a difficult one to understand because there really is no standard for handheld devices yet, but with great persistence this is an obstacle that can be overcome. Collecting leads and trying new media types is exciting work but converting leads are also important. Creating interactive vehicles of communication has seemed to open many doors of success within this area of lead conversion. Digital Admissions presentations that allow staff members to properly communicate each locations offerings and help remember all the aspects that need to be covered while in the interview process has helped aided in enrollment rates company wide. At the same time we give the prospective students something visually to focus on while in the interview process. Actively engaging the user once again. Student retention has also been a focus for our team. We have found that many students drop out for reasons that can be easily overcome if they were just willing to speak to our student services department before an issue becomes a disaster. So, we created an awareness campaign so that students were encouraged to talk with the student services departments. With great success student retention numbers have begun to rise. These are just a few of the many ideas that have impacted high-Tech Institutes overall ROI.
